Overview
Day 1: Delhi to Katra
- Morning: Take an early train or bus from Delhi to Jammu (Train: 10-12 hours; Flight: 1.5 hours).
- Afternoon: Arrive in Jammu and proceed to Katra (Approx. 1.5-2 hours drive).
- Evening: Check into your hotel in Katra and relax. Prepare for the Vaishno Devi trek.
- Overnight: Stay in Katra.
Day 2: Vaishno Devi Darshan
- Early Morning: Start your trek to Vaishno Devi Shrine (Approx. 12-14 km, 5-6 hours trek).
- Afternoon: Reach the Bhawan, offer your prayers, and seek blessings at the holy shrine.
- Evening: You can also visit Bhairon Temple (2.5 km uphill from Bhawan) before descending.
- Late Evening: Return to Katra and relax after the trek.
- Overnight: Stay in Katra.
Day 3: Katra to Patnitop
- Morning: Depart for Patnitop, a beautiful hill station (Approx. 3 hours drive).
- Afternoon: Arrive in Patnitop, check into your hotel, and enjoy the scenic beauty of the surroundings.
- Evening: Explore local attractions like Nathatop, Sanasar Lake, and enjoy the serene environment.
- Overnight: Stay in Patnitop.
Day 4: Patnitop to Jammu
- Morning: Enjoy a peaceful morning in Patnitop.
- Afternoon: Depart for Jammu (Approx. 3 hours drive).
- Evening: Arrive in Jammu, check into your hotel, and visit Raghunath Temple and Ranbireshwar Temple. Explore the local markets for shopping.
- Overnight: Stay in Jammu.
Day 5: Jammu to Delhi
- Morning: Depart from Jammu and take a train or bus back to Delhi.
- Afternoon: Arrive in Delhi and conclude your journey.
